Repair Drop-Off

Drop-off your broken household Electricals and have them fixed by our skilled volunteers.

Got a broken household electrical item? Bring it along to the Fixing Factory in either Camden or Hackney, where skilled local volunteers will try to repair it as part of their learning and development journey.

This service is a supplement to our free Community Repair sessions. If you can’t make the weekly Community Repair Sessions or don’t have time to wait around, then Repair Drop-Offs are for you!

How it works

NB: The process differs slightly between the Camden and Hackney locations, so please read the info below relevant to the Fixing Factory you would like to attend.

  • Items can be dropped off to the Camden Fixing Factory on Wednesday evenings, or on Saturday early afternoon. Just book a slot and we'll be there to collect your item.

We'll charge a small non-refundable fee to assess and do our best to fix your item (fees vary depending on the item). Not all items can be fixed, but we're a determined bunch and will let you know if your item is beyond repair.

Every pound raised goes towards supporting our non-profit community repair hubs.
