Repair Drop-Off
Drop-off your broken household Electricals and have them fixed by our skilled volunteers.
Got a broken household electrical item? Bring it along to the Camden Fixing Factory, where skilled local volunteers will try to repair it as part of their learning and development journey.
This service is a supplement to our free Community Repair sessions each Thursday. If you can’t attend on Thursdays or don’t have time to wait around, then Repair Drop-Offs are for you!
When and where:
Items can be dropped off to the Camden Fixing Factory on Wednesday evenings, or on Saturday early afternoon. Just book a slot and we'll be there to collect your item.
Camden Fixing Factory, 179 Queens Crescent London NW5 4DS.
How it works:
We'll charge a non-refundable fee to assess and do our best to fix your item (fees vary depending on the item). Not all items can be fixed, but we're a determined bunch and will let you know if your item is beyond repair. Every pound raised goes towards supporting our non-profit community repair hub.
Here’s what you can bring to repair:
We currently focus on portable electronic appliances. While we can fix lots of stuff, there are limitations! Please check the list below before bringing things for repair.
Remember to bring power supplies (like chargers) with your device!
We fix these portable appliances:
✔ toasters, kettles
✔ lamps, fans
✔ electric toothbrushes
✔ steamers, diffusers
✔ hairdryers, straighteners
Please don’t bring:
✖ white goods
✖ microwaves
✖ printers
✖ e-bikes, e-scooters, or EV batteries
✖ smartphones or tablets
✖ televisions or monitors
✖ dvd or blu-ray players, VCRs

If you’ve got an item that we can’t repair, The Restart Project have put together a Repair Directory of trusted repair businesses in London. Check them out to find a suitable fixer!
