Corporate Volunteering

Tangible climate action - powered by your team

Team-building workshops

Looking for a hands-on, high-impact team experience that goes beyond tree planting? Consider our Corporate Volunteering Programme, where your team can learn, collaborate, and make a real difference for people and the planet.

Choose a Half-Day Volunteering Session for an engaging, team-building experience, or a Longer-Term Partnership for year-round impact and staff engagement, including virtual workshops, regular volunteering, and exclusive discounts.

All income directly supports our charity-run Fixing Factory: saving waste, cutting emissions, building skills, and strengthening communities.

Why Fixing Factory?

✓ Something different: An environmental activity that isn’t tree-planting!

✓ All year-round: Stay cosy indoors in the winter months!

✓ Combining learning with hands-on activities: Learn about reducing electronic waste, and then get involved in reducing waste yourself.

✓ Give back to a project which supports the community while cutting waste and carbon emissions'

Half-Day Programme

A group of up to 20 volunteers will become our top fixing team for the morning, learning as they go to repair, refurbish, and repurpose.

Volunteers will:

  • Give back to a project which supports the community , cuts waste and carbon emissions

  • Learn about Fixing Factory’s work and how electronics repair contributes to sustainability

  • Help to organise intake of electrical waste rescued from recycling

  • Learn to safety test appliances and assess repairability

  • Sort and salvage parts from unrepairable items

  • Perform basic repairs like replacing a fuse, plug, or simple component

By the end of the session, the volunteers will have contributed to the Fixing Factory's important work to cut waste and address the climate emergency, whilst getting hands-on with fun, team-building sustainability activities.

All materials, equipment and light refreshments will be provided.

Teams are welcome to book lunch afterwards at the Cafe and Courtyard Garden, also in Florentia Village. Lunch can be organised for you for an additional cost (Haringey Fixing Factory only).

Optional extra: Looking for somewhere to host the rest of your day? For an extra £55 per hour, combine a volunteering day with a one-of-a-kind meeting venue in the environment of our Haringey Fixing Factory.  It's a light, quiet space with a projector where teams can get inspired by sustainability whilst having discussions.
