At Fixing Factories, we’re fixing our relationship with disposable tech.

You can give your things a new lease of life. In Camdens’ Queens Crescent Fixing Factory any item from a hair dryer to an air fryer or to a laptop! A talented and creative group of fixers will help you repair your stuff and teach you new skills.

Fixing Factories is a partnership between Possible (Camden Queens Cres Fixing Factory) and The Restart Project (Brent Fixing Factory).

Camden Fixing Factory is run by Possible. Camden Council supported the Queen’s Crescent Fixing Factory in finding its location. Fixing Factory in Brent was run by The Restart Project in partnership with West London Waste Authority .

Fixing Factories are funded by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund and CAST.

Our mission:

  • Empower local communities by teaching them new repair skills

  • Slash carbon emissions by diverting items from waste

  • Close the digital divide by providing equal access to devices

We’re grateful to the National Lottery for funding our first two physical Fixing Factories in Brent and Camden, which will reduce waste and help people to truly value their stuff. One day, there will be a Fixing Factory on every high street.
